Information you give us
The Simple Joys Checklist signup. We ask what to call you (optional) and your email address (required) so we can send you the checklist and, occasionally after that, other Sweet Home Thinks emails. We don’t ask for your last name, phone number, or mailing address.
If you email us directly, we’ll have whatever you included in that message, used only to respond to you.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically collect some technical information when you visit — your IP address, browser and device type, and which pages you view — through standard web-server logs and the analytics tools below.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for basic site functioning and, where noted, for analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details on what’s currently active and your choices.
We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Some third-party analytics services we use may collect information about activity over time and across websites, as described in our Cookie Policy.
Affiliate links
Sweet Home Thinks contains affiliate links. When you click one, you leave our site, and the merchant or affiliate network sets its own cookies to track the referral for commission purposes. That happens under their privacy policy, not ours — we don’t see or control what they collect.
Who we share information with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and send email, who process data on our behalf:
- Hosting/CDN — to run and secure the site
- Google Analytics 4 — to understand how visitors use the site
- Systeme.io — to manage email signups and send the checklist/newsletter
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
Retention
We keep subscriber information for as long as you stay subscribed, plus a short period after you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to the relevant tool’s standard retention settings.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email from us.
- Cookie choices — see the Cookie Policy.
- If privacy law where you live gives you rights over your information (such as the right to ask what we have or to request deletion), email us at [email protected] and we’ll address your request.
Children
Sweet Home Thinks is intended for a general adult audience and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
External links
Our site links to other websites, including affiliate merchants, that we don’t control. This policy doesn’t cover their practices — check their own privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top will reflect the latest version.
